Since 2000, Geomed is a project company that has been offering fast, high quality and innovative solutions to its customers in jobs that require geotechnical engineering expertise. Our History<\/span><\/h4>\n

Geomed was founded in 2000 on the foundations of its manager Salih Aksoy's vast experience of more than 20 years at the time.<\/p>\n

Salih Aksoy, following his Civil (Istanbul Technical University) and Geotechnical (Gazi University, Master's) engineering education, worked at the General Directorate of Highways, Technical Research Department, Soil Mechanics and Tunnels Branch. The year he left this branch, where he was lastly its manager, and was appointed as the General Manager of Geomed, he has already produced solutions for thousands of landslides and other ground problems, and has contributed to almost every kilometre of the national highway network of Turkey.<\/p>\n

His passion for investigative geotechnical engineering, which he continued in another 20 years within Geomed, has been a source of inspiration for both his team of engineers and their working partners. Working together under the roof of Geomed for many years, the team of engineers benefited from Salih Aksoy's knowledge and experience, while undersigning dozens of major projects.<\/p>\n
